Our Mission
The Greater Chicago Alliance of Black School Educators (GCABSE) is dedicated to improving the academic outcomes of Black students in the Greater Chicago area and its surrounding regions. We honor the Greater Chicago area’s rich legacy of Black excellence and resilience by supporting educators, influencing policy, and engaging communities to eliminate educational inequities.
Our Vision
To transform education in the Greater Chicago area by ensuring every child—particularly those of African descent—has equitable access to high-quality schools, culturally affirming instruction, and the resources needed to thrive as scholars, leaders, and changemakers who uplift their communities.
